Each shop’s data is stored separately and is accessible only to that shop’s authorised staff.

We do not sell merchant or customer data and do not use customer transaction details for advertising.

Platform administrators can view account-level information for support; every such view is logged.

To recognise items spoken to Genie, the names of products you sell (only the item names, for example “Heritage Milk”) are added to a shared list of item names and the words people say for them, used for every shop. A word your shop teaches Genie is shared only after three different shops use it; which shops use a word is kept only to count them, is never shown, and is deleted with your shop. The list never includes prices, stock, sales, customers or photos.
